Dominique Blain’s path is that of an artist activist who works with extreme or inacceptable situations in order to make them known, bringing them to mind, imprinting them in our memories and exposing them so that we will never forget them.

Brief History

Founded in 1982 by Françoise Labbé under the name of the International Symposium of Young Painting in Canada, the International Contemporary Art Symposium of Baie-Saint-Paul is a unique event in Quebec, recognized both in Canada and abroad.
